Today we want to focus on a particular feature offered by TDox: the possibility to plan and manage workloads and priorities. In order to do that, we firstly need to define TDox and how it works. TDox is a multi-experience development platform (MXDP) which takes advantage of low-code technology to offer digital solutions for your company. The peculiarity of this platform is that allows everyone, both professional and non-professional developers, to create apps without wasting time on the syntax of the code and to concentrate on their aesthetics and functionalities.
Furthermore, with TDox all processes are available both on the webapp and on Android and iOS mobile apps, so basically you have what you need for your business on your smartphone or tablet. The main goal is to facilitate internal business processes that means supporting your workforce through their tasks by using digital tools. Having well-organized procedures among the various departments is a key-point to offer high-level products or services and TDox is the right platform to assure this goal.
Automation, integration, and cloud capabilities are some of the features that TDox put at your disposal to improve your business. Now, as we understood what TDox is, let’s get deeper and discover how you can plan and manage workloads and priorities with this platform.
First of all, you need to register to TDox, which is completely free, and the first interface you will see will be TDox’s homepage.

Then, tap on the menu and select “Workloads”. The system will immediately show you all the users you have in your account and on the left the draft events.

However, you can create new and more specific workloads if you only want to see some particular events. Therefore, tap “+ Workload” to create a new one and give it a name in order to identify your workload. In this example, we took the POD (proof of delivery) form, which is a mandatory form that has to be filled out in the logistics sector when some material is delivered, so the workload’s name will be “POD Operators”.

Consequently, under “operators association” you can assign your operators to this specific workload and under “forms association” the different forms they will have to fill out. Here, we selected the POD form.
Once you defined the event to be performed and the operators you want to perform that task, you just have to drag-and-drop the event on the operators. Clearly, you can add new events in the “no assigned events list” by tapping on “+ Event” or the “+” bottom near operator’s names. Then, you can approve all the events and send them to your employees (by clicking the “check bottom”) who will receive this workload on their mobile devices. In this way, it is possible to save time and effort and keep your workforce updated abut the activities that have to be performed, avoiding dispersive communication tools and keeping everything in one single app.
Anyway, it is not over yet. As a matter of fact, if these events need to be performed outside, you can see the itinerary your operators have to follow through the use of maps. This could be very helpful, especially if, like in our case, your company is in the logistics sector, and you want to show to your transporters the right itinerary.
Be careful! When you tap on “Maps” an error could pop up, because TDox does not know your models and it does not know in which fields you have put the address where the operator has to go.
Therefore, let’s tap the building icon on the right top of the screen and select “modify business data”. After that, under the setting chart, go to “Web agenda options”.

As you can see, here you have to insert this specific code: “Vars.customer_1.Address + ” ” + Vars.customer_1.City”. This is fundamental, because in this way you allow TDox to show you your operator’s itinerary. Once this action has been performed, go back to the workloads, and select again “Maps”. What you will see is the following.

Your workload is ready, and your operators are aware of what the tasks they have to perform. With TDox is easier to plan and manage workload and priorities, since the use of low-code technology combined to the immediacy of the interfaces allow to create detailed workloads and offer to your employees a way to work better.
Remember that if you have any doubt, our technicians will support you to create forms and workloads according to your needs.
